Two teams from Cambridge Campus entered the BSA Technology Tournament last week, and we are very thrilled to announce that one of the teams won the event! The team of 4 boys, 3 from Y10 and 1 from Y8, were pronounced overall winners of the tournament. The tournament was organised by the Rotary Club, with a brief to design a machine that would push debris from a pipeline. Around 50 pupils took part from 6 schools in Cambridge, and the teams were provided with raw materials and given a time limit. The boys very much enjoyed the event, and were very pleased with their success – a day of “much tension, thinking on your feet, speed and cut fingers …”.
