The school came together on Friday 10th November to pay their respects to many people: those who have given their life serving their country, those who have fought for respect for humanity, those who have suffered unjustly.  The assembly discussed why the poppy is used as a symbol of remembrance, and ended with the Last Post.

During the week pupils wrote individual comments on poppy petals for the main corridor display, and each class produced a ‘remembrance thought’:

Sixth Formers visited the local War Memorial to show their respect.
