The school takes its responsibility to provide a safe and caring environment for all under its care very seriously.

The school has a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (click here) and a Health & Safety Policy (click here) which are regularly reviewed and updated.  Many other policies are in place to protect pupils, staff and all visitors, such as the ICT and E-Safety Policy, the Crisis Management and Lockdown Policy, the Positive Mental Health Strategy, amongst others.

The school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs E Jordan (Head of Pupil Development)

a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs S Siva

and a Trustee responsible for Child Protection – Mr C Fentiman

All staff and volunteers are fully trained in Child Protection and Safeguarding Procedures regularly, and parents are also given information on how to safeguard their children.
